A Story of Cuba

This is an artistic short- that is, images set to sounds and music which tell a story of Cuba and it people. These images were taken during the most recent of three trips to the Island.

I encourage you to view this in full screen mode with the volume set high so as not to miss any sound bites and imagery.

For those of you who viewed the first edit, most of the changes come in the last five minutes although some minor alterations have been made in the beginning.

Three emerging New York artists offer us an investigation into the kinetic energy intrinsic to abstract organic forms.

Despite taking radically different approaches to conveying liquid, mutable aspects of abstraction a contemplative underlying harmony is at play in this sensuous body of work.

How do you say you were so beautiful and full of joy
and in my memories you still are.
How do you say you'll always be in
my heart, but you won't be here
when I come back.


I tightened all the screws and squeezed
shut every pore, making sure not to let
out a drop of emotion.

Cry, Cry, I had to cry. But how do you look
into the eyes of you're dying friend with
tears...you might as well say;

Your dying, I love you, but I won't see you again.
